At 37 years old, Stephen Curry remains as active as ever, showing game after game why he’s considered one of the greatest legends in NBA history. The Warriors star had an incredible night in their matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, securing a close yet decisive 134-125 victory for his team.

Though the margin was tight, Stephen Curry stepped up to ensure the win with a performance that analysts have described as historic. Even coach Steve Kerr couldn’t help but admire Curry’s scoring and dynamism on the court.

Stephen Curry’s magical night

Being a true star requires delivering when it matters most, and Stephen Curry is undoubtedly a master of the game. He demonstrated this against the Grizzlies, putting on a top-tier show for basketball fans.

Just to give you an idea, Stephen Curry went into halftime with 32 points and eight three-pointers. By the end of the game, his stats reached an astounding 52 points, including 12 long-distance buckets. But that’s not all—the star also contributed 8 assists, 10 rebounds, 5 steals, and even a block.

Impressing everyone

Stephen Curry’s performance didn’t just wow Warriors fans; it also earned high praise from coach Steve Kerr. “I can’t believe he’s still doing this at his age. But he’s worked hard and still has it,” the coach shared with the media after the game.

Additionally, some reporters asked Kerr about the extent to which Stephen Curry’s recent rest impacted his performance. Kerr responded with his take: “I think it helped him. I think playing two rounds of golf on this trip helped him. Just kidding, but yeah, the week off did him good. I think he looks energized, rejuvenated,” Kerr joked.

Warriors staying strong

This game was pivotal for the Warriors—not just because of Stephen Curry’s outstanding performance. The hard-fought victory brought the team closer to securing a spot in the Western Conference Playoffs.

The league is becoming increasingly thrilling with close, nail-biting games. For now, Stephen Curry and the Warriors are holding steady in the fifth position. Kerr is focused on keeping the team prepared and highlighting the talent of his players.

“I think the last time Stephen Curry was here, he didn’t make a single field goal. I assure you he remembered that. We lost by 50 points or something like that. And we know how they like to defend him. They’ve done a great job on him. They’ve done a great job on us… I felt there was a very coordinated effort to execute, stay organized, and keep composure,” Kerr explained.
