The iHeartRadio Music Awards took place Monday night at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. While fans eagerly anticipated the appearance of Taylor Swift, the singer did not attend with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. However, Swift still made her mark, receiving multiple awards and addressing fans through a pre-recorded video.

Though some fans expressed disappointment over her absence, Taylor Swift quickly became the talk of the internet once again. As a token of gratitude for her fans’ unwavering support, the Grammy-winning artist shared an unreleased performance from her multimillion-dollar “Eras Tour.”

The unreleased video of Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift publicly premiered her performance of “Mirrorball,” a song she originally performed two years ago during the opening night of her tour. Predictably, anything Swift -related tends to go viral, and this footage was no exception, spreading across social media in minutes.

Fans were thrilled by the video, hailing it as one of the tour’s most memorable moments. However, their excitement was short-lived. The video was soon removed from various platforms due to copyright issues.

Multiple posts linking to the unreleased video were taken down, replaced with broken links and error messages. These removals occurred only after the clip of Taylor Swift had been viewed over a million times.

Limited availability

The takedowns, triggered by copyright claims, restricted the video’s further circulation. Messages read, “This media has been disabled in response to a report from the copyright owner.”

As of now, a few clips of the “Mirrorball” performance remain available on X, where Taylor Swift ‘s fans can still enjoy this rare moment. However, it’s likely that these too may be removed soon.
