Charlotte Jones received a surprising message from ESPN commentator Troy Aikman after she made an important announcement on social media. Jerry Jones’ daughter shared on Instagram that she had participated in the construction of a museum for the National Medal of Honor Foundation.

The Cowboys’ heiress stated that, alongside many recipients, she contributed to making this new cultural space in Arlington a reality. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the museum’s official opening, and Troy Aikman’s response was truly noteworthy.

A well-deserved tribute to american soldiers

Charlotte Jones’ post included photos alongside former President George W. Bush and Laura Bush. The Cowboys’ executive vice president and chief brand officer captioned the post:

“Their stories will now come to life for generations of visitors, inspiring them to act with courage in their own communities.”

The post received many responses, including one from Troy Aikman, who wrote: “Incredible”, followed by a heart emoji and an American flag emoji. It seems that the Cowboys Hall of Famer deeply admires Jones’ work.

Acommitment that made a difference

Charlotte Jones’ dedication, alongside the mayor of Arlington, led to an outstanding result. She pledged a $20 million donation to the foundation. Additionally, her family contributed a total of $70 million to support the cause.

This foundation has helped build 3,507 homes for American soldiers who have fought for the country. Now, the museum will showcase the bravery of these heroes, featuring interviews, artifacts, and other exhibits that tell the stories of Medal of Honor recipients.
